Places to Visit in Jordan
Jerash (North)
Jerash is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world and has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. Visitors can walk along colonnaded streets, explore ancient theaters, and see landmarks such as the Temple of Artemis and the impressive Oval Forum. After sightseeing, there are several restaurants in the area offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

Irbid (North)
Irbid is known for having some of the best food in Jordan. It offers a more local and authentic experience, and nearly every meal—from street food to sit-down restaurants—is excellent.
Umm Qais (near Irbid)
Located about 45 minutes from downtown Irbid, Umm Qais is famous for its ancient ruins from the Decapolis era. The site features well-preserved streets, theaters, and breathtaking views overlooking the lake. For a memorable experience, visit Romero Restaurant to watch the sunset.

Petra
Petra is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a must-see destination in Jordan. Known for its rock-cut architecture and historical significance, it is best explored early in the day. Comfortable walking shoes and water are essential.
Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is famous for its dramatic desert landscapes, red sand dunes, and rock formations. Popular activities include jeep tours, stargazing, and overnight stays in desert camps. Luxury bubble camps are highly recommended and can be found easily online.

Adventure Wadis
For those seeking adventure, Jordan offers canyoning and hiking experiences similar to the Grand Canyon. Notable options include Wadi Al-Hasa, Wadi Mujib, and Wadi Bin Hammad. Many guided tours can be found online or through Instagram pages that provide videos, routes, and difficulty levels.
